“BORGER – Tommy Ray Ware, 58, died Sunday, Aug. 22, 1999.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Sunset Memorial Cemetery in Stinnett with the Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor of Bible Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Minton / Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Mr. Ware was born in Stinnett and was a lifelong resident of Hutchinson County. He was a veteran of the Army and a rancher.
From 1968 until 1981, Mr. Ware served with the Hutchinson County Sheriff’s Department and also was with the Borger Police Department. He was a member of the Angus Association.
He was preceded in death by a son, Tim Ashton.
Survivors include two sons, Danny Ware of Clarendon and Robert Ashton of Fritch; six daughters, Telenna Thompson of Georgetown and Theresa Trammell, Dedra Ware, Anna Grant, Loretta Mayberry and Beatrice Gamble, all of Borger; his mother, Leta Rena of Stinnett; three brothers, Carl Holliday of Stinnett, Jimmy Holliday of Bakersfield, Calif., and Ronnie Holliday of McAlister, Okla.; and 16 grandchildren.”
