Biography

Paul Ware, Jr. of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2013 in Broken Arrow at the age of 82. He was born April 7, 1931 to Paul & Agnes (Thayer) Ware in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

He married Wanda Hamlin on April 19, 1949 in Enterprise, Oklahoma. Paul was a retired mechanic for American Airlines. He loved to restore old tractors & airplanes and was a Charter Member of Calvary Baptist Church in Broken Arrow and a member of machinist union.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents; & 1-sister, Clista Howard. He is survived by his wife, Wanda of the home; 2-children, Phyllis Holmes & David of Broken Arrow, & Stanley Ware of Hot Springs, Arkansas; 5-grandchildren, Shelly Nichols, Randy Holmes, Brianna Williams, Allyson Aldridge,& Jon Ware; 8-great-grandchildren; 4-great-great-grandchildren; & 1-brother, Worn Ed Ware of Taylors, South Carolina.

Funeral Service will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 25, 2013 at Christian~Gavlik Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randy Shaddox officiating.

The family has suggested Memorial Contributions be made to the charity of your choice.
