This cemetery was used for the last time in 1933 when John Fly Cure was buried. The Cemetery is in bad condition and most of the markers are knocked over . Brush has taken it over.

William Rankin Ware was an early settler to Texas arriving in 1837. He was awarded 300 acres of land in Wilson County. William and many of his descendants are buried here. ********************************************* There are at least six graves that are marked with only a stone, no engraving. Looking for documentation that proves William Rankin Ware was in Texas before 1846.
I believe the last name WARE should be spelled WEAR, according to marriage and census records and descendant’s accounts.
