Funeral services for Carlene Ware, 58, will be on Saturday, July 27, 2013, at 1 p.m. at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church where the Rev. Angelo Groce is pastor. The Rev. J.S. Rowser Jr., officiating. Burial will be in Jacksonville City Cemetery. Mrs. Ware remains will arrive at the church one hour prior to her services. Mrs. Ware passed away July 20, 2013 at Noland Hospital. Mrs. Ware graduated in 1973 from Alexandria High School. She retired from Jacksonville State University. She was a member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughter, Kimberly D. Ware; son, Kevin T. Ware; grandson: Darius S. Vincent; her mother, Lillie M. Williams; siblings, Dorothy L. (Clarence) Armour, Rosa M. Leonard, Willie Crook; step-sister, Jean D. (Darnell) McDuffie; other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Carl B. Pless ; sister, Betty M. Cunningham.
