Durelle Ware Yates, 64, passed away April 18, 2003, in Hamilton, Texas. She was born Nov. 12, 1938, in Mission, Texas, to Ernest “Heavy” Ware and Velma L. Burns Ware. She married Bill Yates on Feb. 14, 1957, in Clifton. The couple had nine children. Graveside services for Durelle, a homemaker, took place at Dublin Liveoak Cemetery on April 19, with Bill Wiley officiating. She is survived by her husband, Bill Yates of Dublin, Texas; children, Danny Yates of Dublin, Cindy and Dellman Barrett of Dublin, and Stacey and Brian Johnston of Eastland, Texas; seven grandchildren; and a stepmother, Betty Ware of York Valley. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Foster Home in Stephenville, Texas.Arrangements were by the Marrell Funeral Home of Dublin.
