OCALA, Fla. — Evelyn P. (Harrington) Ware, 76, of Ocala and formerly of Conway, Mass. died Thursday, May 24, 2001 after a long illness. She was born in Bennington on March, 7 1925, daughter of Silas and Doris (Briggs) Harrington. She graduated from North Bennington School and St. Joseph Business College. She and her husband of 55 years, Malcolm R. Ware, spent most of their married life in Conway. She was a member of the Conway United Church and an active member of the Order of the Eastern Star where she held many positions including Past Matron. She held several secretarial and administrative positions in Amherst and Conway before retiring to Florida. Besides her husband, she leaves a son, Malcolm K. of Conway; a daughter, Roxeen Parker of Ashfield; a granddaughter, Sadie Ware, and a grandson, Timothy Parker, both of Conway; two brothers, Martin Harrington of Shaftsbury, Vt. and Ralph Harrington of Bennington, a sister, Pauline Knapp Granger of Shaftsbury; also many nieces and nephews. A brother Gerald and a grandson Todd Parker predeceased her. A memorial service will be held in Ocala on Wednesday, June 6. A service will be held in Conway at the United Church on June 23 at 11 a.m. for friends, relatives and loved ones. Refreshments and a gathering will follow in the Church Hall.
