BELINGTON, W.Va. – Geneva K. Ware, 86, of 708 Crim Ave., died Wednesday, Jan. 27, 1999, at her home. Born Jan. 15, 1913, in Junior, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Rosa Corley Everson. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Newton Kirk, in 1946; and by her second husband, Ray E. Ware, in 1969. She attended schools of Barbour County, W.Va. She was a homemaker; she also was co-owner and operator of Ware Lumber in Belington for more than 20 years. She was a member of Belington Church of Christ. She was formerly a member of the board of directors of Bel-Bar Inc. and Masketeers Inc. of Belington; and was a founding member, board of directors of Barbour County Good Samaritan Center. She is survived by a daughter, Carol Lee Molnar of Hagerstown; two stepdaughters, Gail Sinsel of Junior, whom she raised, and Betty Alban of Deland, Fla.; three stepsons, Bradford Ware Sr. of Redford, Va., Odbert Ware of Belington and Marvin Ware of Windwood, Fla.; a sister, Carrie Ross of Belington; two brothers, Fredrick Everson Jr. of Montrose, W.Va., and Raymond Everson of Belington; three grandchildren; 10 stepgrandchildren; 12 stepgreat-grandchildren; and one stepgreat-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Genevieve Bonner and an infant; two brothers, Roland Everson and Willard Everson; and three stepgrandchildren. Services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Belington Church of Christ. Evangelists Dallas Lockheart and Jeremy Young will officiate. Burial will follow in Fraternal Cemetery near Belington. Friends will be received today from 5 to 9 p.m., Friday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday until 11 a.m. at Talbott Funeral Home, 210 Brandenburg St., Belington. Friends may call Saturday one hour prior to the service at the church.
