Mitzi A. Ware, 49, of Las Vegas, passed away May 28, 2010. She was born Oct. 15, 1960, in Boston, and was a 47-year resident of Nevada. Mitzi graduated from Western High School and earned a masters degree in business administration at UNLV. She was a professor at the College of Southern Nevada. Mitzi is survived by her husband, Mike Monahan; mother, Ruthann Barker; father, Alan Ware; sister, Debby (Chris) Greve; brother, Mark Ware (Lisa Lear); and nephew, Ian Kesler. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 9, at Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89129, (702) 464-8480.
