FELTON – Vincent York “Vinnie” Ware Sr., 76, of Felton, died Sunday, Dec. 5, 2010, at DE Hospice Center, Milford. He was born in Felton, son of the late John Thomas Ware and Elizabeth Vincent Ware. Mr. Ware was a farmer and a lifetime member of the Felton Community Fire Company. He was a loving husband and father and his family was his life. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his three siblings, Jacqueline Hall, Mary Emily Green and John Albert Ware. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Anne B. Ware; one son, Vincent York Ware, Jr. “Vince” and his fiancée Terry Lewis; and one daughter, Melanie Alexander and her husband Michael, both of Felton; and three sisters, Margaret Ware and husband Charles, Ruth Kemp, and Jean Kish. Services will be private. Arrangements handled by Berry Short Funeral Home, Felton.
