Willard Lambert Ware Obituary, 2012

North Thetford, Vt. — Willard Lambert Ware, 91, died on Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012, at the Brookside Nursing Home, in Wilder, Vt. He was born in Topsham, Vt., June 19, 1921, the son of Walter F. and Helena G. (Leet) Ware. Willard was a dairy farmer for many years in the Norwich and Fairlee, Vt. areas. Following his farming years, he worked for his brother, Leet at Ware Construction as a masonry foreman and was a member of the Bricklayers and Allied Plasterers Union Local #1 of Lebanon, N.H. Willard was a professional bear hunter and guide in both Vermont and New Hampshire. He owned his own pack of bear dogs for many years. He was predeceased by his sister Genevieve Wilder and his brother Leet Ware. Survivors include his niece, Julie M. Ware of Thetford Center, Vt.; two nephews, Leet T. Ware of Fairlee, Vt. and John Wilder of West Virginia; and several great nieces and nephews and cousins. There will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be at the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in North Thetford on May 24, 2013, at 1 p.m. with Rev. Gail Dimick, officiating.
