A concelebrated Mass of Christian burial will be at noon Friday, Nov. 9, 2007, in St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church in Portland for Jean Catherine Ware, who died Oct. 24 at age 81. Jean Martin was born Jan. 6, 1926, in San Francisco. She graduated from Providence School of Nursing in Oakland, Calif., and was a registered nurse in the neonatal unit at OHSU. She was a member of the church. In 1948, she married John C.; he died in 1985. Survivors include her daughter, Laurie; sons, Jeff, Jim and Dan; brother, Howard Martin; and seven grandchildren.
