Nellie Louise Stone Ware, 84, of South Charleston, passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2013, at her home. She was formerly employed as a stenographer and office manager at Thomas Memorial Hospital and was a member of the First Christian Church in South Charleston and Logan. Surviving are her sons, Charles Richard “Rick” Ware of South Charleston and David Leonard Ware of Lexington, Ky., and daughter, Cheri Lou Damron of Smith Creek. She is also survived by grandchildren, April Rogers, Heather Damron, Casey Ware, Lindsey Acree and Lily Ware, and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Forest Lawn Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel, Pecks Mill, with the Rev. George Webb officiating. Friends may call at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday.
