Harold R. Ware Obituary, 1998

Harold R. “Hadie” Ware, 67, of 486 county Route 29 died Monday at Loretto Heights Nursing Home. Born in New Haven, he lived in the Oswego area many years. He retired in 1993 after many years with Alcan, working in the maintenance department. Surviving are his wife, the former Grace Cleary; a son, Thomas of Oswego; two daughters, Debbie McConkey and Julie Mason, both of Oswego; two stepsons, Robert and Matthew Maclean, both of Oswego; five stepdaughters, Shirley Whalen of Oswego, Donna Holbrook of Parish, Marilyn Baker of Lycoming, Carolyn Stack of Mexico and Sydney Lazzaro of New Haven; three brothers, James and Gordon, both of Scriba, and Lloyd of Parish; two sisters, Irene Kirk of Arizona and Nora Buskey of Scriba; several grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Services are 7 p.m. Thursday at Harter Funeral Home. Spring burial is in New Haven Cemetery. Calling hours are 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, 9 Washington Ave., Mexico. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
