Services for Lulu M. Ware, 69, of 220 Melone Village, who died Tuesday at Auburn Memorial Hospital, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Farrell Funeral Home. Burial will be in Jacksonville Cemetery. Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home, 84 South St. A native of Phoenix, Mrs. Ware lived in Auburn 38 years. She was a nurse’s aid at the former Giovannetti Nursing Home in Auburn. She was the widow of Albert Ware. Mrs. Ware was a member of the Salvation Army Church, the Home League and the Golden Agers Club. Surviving are a son, Larry of Ovid; two daughters, Nora Haseler of Ludowici, Ga., and Joyce McNabb of Auburn; three sisters, Gladys McCelland and Dorothy Lamb, both of Auburn, and Frances Ozsmink of Lockport; four brothers, Harold of Fulton, George of New Haven and Charles and Claude Davis, both of Oswego; and 10 grandchildren. Contributions may be made to the Auburn Memorial Hospital Memorial Fund or the Salvation Army.
