Natalie (Ware) Holcombe, 68, of Granby formerly of Ellington, beloved wife of James G. Holcombe died Tuesday (Oct. 13, 1998) at her home. Born in Brookline, NH, May 23, 1930, she had lived in Ellington and Plainville before moving to Granby. She was active in church, taught Sunday School and sang in the choir. Natalie was a member of the Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Simsbury. Besides her husband Jim of 48 years she leaves a son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Rebecca Holcombe of Bridgewater, ME; two daughters and sons-in-law, Alison and Frank Giallanza of Enfield, Cynthia and John Vincent of Bristol; eight grandchildren, Brian, Nathaniel, Joshua, Jennifer, Marissa, Catherine, Angela, and Eliza. She also leaves a brother, Willa rd Ware of Limerick, ME. Funeral services will be Friday, Oct. 16, 1 p.m. at the Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, 7 Wescott Rd, Simsbury with Pastor Robert McGurn officiating. Burial will be in the Granby Cemetery. Her family will receive friend s TODAY, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Hayes-Huling and Carmon Funeral Home, 364 Salmon Brook St., Granby.
