A Mass of Christian Burial for Rita A. Ware, 63, of Williamsville, former co-owner of a liquor store in Alden, will be offered at 10 a.m. Monday in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 2000 Sandridge Road, Alden. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, East Aurora. Mrs. Ware, a native of Buffalo, died Thursday (Nov. 25, 1993) in Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital after a long illness. She and her late husband, Donald McNeil, owned and operated a liquor store in Alden for 25 years until his death in 1983. She continued to operate the business until selling it in 1991. Survivors include four sons, Donald McNeil of Rochester, Bruce McNeil of Troy, Mich., Randall McNeil of Cleveland and David McNeil of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; six stepdaughters, Charlotte Key of Walled Lake, Mich., Pamela Sterling of Corfu, Zoe Rodgers of Howell, Mich., Susan Fettes of Ann Arbor, Mich., Pamela Crosby of Ithaca and Minda Zorkoczy of England; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
