Viola M. Ware Obituary, 1999

Viola M. Ware, 75, of 222 State St., died Sunday at Hallmark Nursing Centre, where she had lived since Dec. 10. Mrs. Ware was a homemaker and had worked as a child-care provider. She moved to Carthage from Syracuse several years ago. Born March 21, 1924, in Syracuse, a daughter of Earl and Carrie M. Harrington Hoose, she attended school at Richfield Springs. She married John A. Ware, who died in 1965. Surviving are a brother, Nelson Hoose, Pleasant Lake Road, nieces and nephews. A sister, Dorothy M. Hollenbeck, died before her. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Bossuot-Lundy Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul J. Rowley, pastor of Natural Bridge United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Natural Bridge. A calling hour will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
