Sharon Quanette Ware, 57, of Georgia, departed this life Sunday, Jan. 5, 2014. She was born in Cleveland to the late James Scott Ware and Earnestine Ware. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers: Earnest L. Ware, James S. Ware and the Rev. Jerry Ware; her sisters: Anna Jean Wells and Mary L. Lowe; and her brother-in-law, Leonard Woods. She attended College Hill School and Cleveland High School where she ran track. She was a member of Mount Eagle Baptist Church in Charleston, where she attended until she became ill. She recently began attending Christian Fellowship Center. She was a people person and enjoyed playing cards, family time and visiting friends. She was a kind, caring and giving person. She had a manner of talking that once you engaged in conversation with her you would never forget her. She was a great mother and grandmother. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and teaching them the ways of life. She not only will be missed by her children, but the many people who knew and loved her. She leaves to cherish her memory, daughter, Crystal Ware of Rome, Ga.; sons: Russell K. Ware (Thomas) and Murriel J. (Danette) Ware, both of Cleveland; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters: Nellie Ware and Patsy Woods; brother: Robert (Janice) Ware; sister-in-law, Brenda Ware; brothers-in-law: Cletus Wells and Timothy Lowe; ex-daughter-in-law, Christina Ware, all of Cleveland; and many nieces, nephews, loved ones, other relatives and friends. The body may be viewed Friday, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Patton Funeral Home Chapel at 265 Fair Street S.E. in Cleveland. Family visitation will be Saturday, Jan. 11, 2014, from noon until the 1 p.m. service time at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, East Inman Street N.E. in Cleveland, where Pastor Edward S. Robinson Sr. presides. Pastor Timothy Purifory of Christian Fellowship Center will be the eulogist. Interment will follow at Fort Hill Cemetery.
