Carroll – Ware Marriage

Ware-Carroll
A very pretty home wedding was that which occurred on Wednesday afternoon,
when Miss Myra Ware was united in marriage to Mr. Roy Dean Carroll at her
mother's home on Athens street.
The house was prettily decorated in palms and ferns, and in the parlor the
bridal party stood in front of a beautiful bank of green overhung with
garlands of cedar and smilax.
The punch bowl which was placed in the hall was presided over by Misses
Ethel Jackson and Gussie O'Neal, who were lovely in dresses of cream and
pink.
The bride wore a beautiful suit of brown, with hat and shoes to match.
The ceremony was performed in a most impressive manner by Rev. W. T.
Hunnicutt, of the Methodist church.
Mr. and Mrs. Carroll left immediately for Atlanta, which place they will
make their future home.
The bride is well known here and is the charming daughter of Mrs. M.
E. Ware, and has many friends.
Mr. Carroll is a most promising young business man of the Gate City.
Quite a number of out of town visitors were present at the wedding.
