Andrew Gregory Ware Obituary, 2014

Andrew Gregory Ware

Andrew Gregory Ware Father, Brother, Beloved Son, and Grandson Andrew was born June 11, 1985 in West Jordan, Utah, where he grew up with his siblings and the many friends and neighbors who became like family. He left this earth peacefully with his loving family by his side on the 19th day of May, 2014. Andy graduated from West Jordan High School in 2004 where he was an asset on the wrestling and football teams. Andy was an accomplished architectural draftsman whose creative designs can be seen at various places around the country (i.e., Wynn/Encore, Mandalay Bay, and the Luxor in Las Vegas). First and foremost, he was a loving and caring father. Andy played a very active part in his son’s life. They were really like best friends. He coached his soccer team, built Lego sets and they loved to play video games and watch cartoons together. Andy was a big kid at heart and the jokester of the family. His love and compassion showed with his dog Hope. He thought the world of her and would take her everywhere, she was almost always by his side. He was very passionate about those that he loved in his life. He always knew how to entertain a crowd and put a smile on your face. He loved the family get togethers where all the relatives sat around and told stories about the younger days. As a brother he was both a protector and guardian. Always the affectionate son, he never ended a conversation without saying “I Love You”. And always the hugger in the family. He especially enjoyed the annual family vacations on the houseboat at Lake Powell. Cliff jumping, wake boarding and boating with his family and friends was something he always looked forward to. Andy overcame many obstacles and challenges while following his own path in life. Andy is survived by his parents Stan and Karen Ware, wife Samantha Johnson, his siblings, Alex (Laura) and Afton (Trever Swensen), his son Brayden Thacker, along with his grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 24th, 2014 at 11:00 am with a viewing from 9:30 to 10:30 am at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley, located at 1007 W. South Jordan Parkway (10600 South), South Jordan, Utah 84095. The family suggests donations in Andy’s memory to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, PO Box 1558, Riverton, Utah 84065.
