Harrison “Ikie” Ware, 83, of Owenton, died Tuesday at Owen County Memorial Hospital in Owenton. He was a retired employee of Owen Rural Electric Cooperative, and a former employee of Alnutt Dairy Co. and Thomas Hardware, Owenton. He was a member of Owenton Second Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Ida Livers Ware; a son, Burnham Ware of Owenton; and a foster brother, Raymond Boatley of Columbus, Ohio. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at McDonald Funeral Home, Main Street, Owenton. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Owen County. Memorials are suggested to Owenton Second Baptist Church, Seminary Street, Owenton, Ky.
