Lester Darnaby Ware, 67, of 131 McDowell Road, a retired clerk for the military supply department of the University of Kentucky ROTC program, husband of Mae Welch Ware, died yesterday at his home after a long illness. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at W.R. Milward Mortuary — Broadway. Visitation is from 5 to 9 p.m. today.
