Mrs. Mildred P. Ware, 84, of Franklin, entered into rest Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012, at 7:43 a.m. at The Medical Center at Franklin. Arrangements are under the direction of Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home, where services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin. A native of Simpson County, she was the daughter of the late James Franklin Poston and the late Della Organdy McReynolds Poston. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Martin Ware; a son, Timothy Wayne Ware; a brother, William “Bill” Poston; and four sisters, Pearl Halliburton, Mattie Hindman, Rosie Turner and Margaret Scott. She is survived by a son, Dan Ware (Cathy), and a daughter, Sandy Perry (Kenny), all of Franklin; three grandchildren, Lesslye Perry Harris, Justin Perry and Lindsey Perry; and two great-grandchildren, Rowdy James Harris and Milly Jewell Harris; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Ware was a member of the Franklin Church of Christ and a retired employee of the Simpson County School System as cashier at the high school cafeteria. Visitation will be today from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 6 a.m. until funeral service time at Booker-Gilbert Funeral Home. Online condolences may be left at www.bookergilbertfh.com.
