Thelma K. Ware, 88, widow of Woodrow Ware, passed away Thursday, July 24 at University of Kentucky Medical Center, Lexington. She was born December 9, 1925 in Clay City to the late Jefferson Claude and Grace Bruner Everman. Survivors include, Daughter, Sharon and husband, Ronnie Knox; Grandson, Anthony and wife, Melody Knox; Great-Grandchildren, Katie and Kane Knox, all of Clay City. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Ray, J.C., Emmitt, Russell, and Arthur Everman, and half-sister, Elizabeth Crowe. Services Sunday, July 27, 2:00PM, Davis & Davis Funeral Home by Rev. Wayne Everman, Rev. Grider Denny, Rev. Mike Guertin, and Rev. Don Hatton. Visitation Saturday after 6:00PM at the funeral home. Burial in Ware Cemetery, Clay City, with Anthony Knox, Shannon Smith, Richard Boone, Jackie Rose, Ronnie Everman, and Rick Bowlby serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers serving, members of the West Bend Methodist Church.
