$100 Reward.
Runaway from my plantation four miles north of Jackson on the 24th
November, four negro men, viz: ELLIC, a tall likely yellow boy, nineteen years old; HENRY, a yellow man, about 5
feet 8 inches high, with a very bushy head of hair, 22 years old, heavy built; ABRAHAM, black,
about 5 feet 10 inches high, 28 years old; and LOWDON, a stout black man, 3 [sic] years old,
bad teeth, and about 5 feet 6 or 8 inches high. These servants took a variety of good clothing and
about one hundred dollars in money, and when last heard of were in Yazoo county, making their
way north. They are four very intelligent and fine looking servants. The above reward of one
hundred dollars will be paid for their delivery at my plantation or to my brother G. P. WARE or
Jackson, or twenty-five dollars for either of them.
