WARE, RALPH B., age 83, of Corner, died Saturday, September 4, 1999. He was a retired Stadium Supervisor for Birmingham Park and Recreation Board. He was a member of Antioch Church of Christ, a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 7 at 11:00 at New Horizon Chapel with burial in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Corner. Mr. Lonnie Ingram and Mr. E.S. McKenzie presiding. Visitation will be Monday, September 6 from 6-9 p.m. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Wanda Rooker and grandaughter, Darlene Ware. Survivors include his wife, Bertie Marie Ware; daughters, Jane Fredrick (Ray), Bonnie Fitzgerald (Ted), Anna Early (Wesley), Cynthia Valentine (Bill), and Belinda Tolbert (Michael), all of Corner; sons, Dewey Ware (Fay), Steve Ware (Donna), all of Corner; sisters, Mary Palmer and Wilda Hawkins, both of Corner; brother, Dewey Ware of Norcross, GA; 22 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
