LaVera Clara (Petersen) Ware, 83, of Centralia, died March 18, 2004. She was born July 23, 1920, in Sioux City, Iowa. She lived in Longview prior to moving to Centralia in 2000. Ms. Ware worked as a cafeteria manager in California for many years. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Clark B. Rhodes Jr., in 1948 and Jack Liddell in 1973. Survivors include two sons, Brian Rhodes and Roger Rhodes; four daughters, Diana Romag, Jackie Conary, Donna Francis and Sandra Pettersson; a sister, Evelyn Marracq; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. A private family service will be held at Cowlitz View Memorial Gardens in Kelso. Memorial contributions may be made tot he Longview Christian School, 2614 Ocean Beach Highway, Longview, WA 98632. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Columbia Funeral Service.
