Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Monday, March 24, 2008, at Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Forest with burial in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Newport, Ariz. The Rev. Larry Duncan officiated.
Mrs. Ware had been a longtime resident of Lake prior to having lived in Long Beach. She was a member of Salem Baptist Church.
Mrs. Ware was preceded in death by her grandson, Anthony Ryland Joseph; her brother, Jack Grice; and her parents, MD And Lillie Mae Grice. Survivors include her husband, Billy Ware of Lake; three children, Deborah Ware of Chesterfield, Va., Beverly Ray and husband, Glenn of Newton, Ala. and Reba Joseph and husband, Ed of Newport, Ariz.; one sister, Jeannette Frazier of Lake; four brothers, MD Grice Jr. of Belzoni, Billy Grice of Oklahoma, Bobby Grice of Greenville and Jimmy Grice of Lake Village, Ariz.; four grandsons, Keith Elder, Michael Ware, Jason Davis and Jeremy Davis; 14 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
