Shirley Dean Jones Ware, 68, wife of William Franklin “Bill” Ware, died Friday, May 8, 2015, at Clark Regional Medical Center. A native of Paris, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late William David Jones Sr. and the late Virginia Taylor Jones. She was a retired secretary for Clintonville Christian Church and was a member of Clintonville Christian Church. In addition to her husband, she was also survived by her three children, Shane Allen Ware of Clintonville, Franklin Scott Ware of Winchester and Wendee (Chris) Griffieth of Winchester; seven grandchildren, Alexandra Ware, Andrew Ware, A.J. Ware, Brayden Ware, Ashleigh Ware, Emma Rae Griffieth and Jacob Owen Griffieth; special grandfather, Andrew “Andy” Hatfield; one niece; one nephew; and aunts, uncles and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one brother, William David Jones Jr.; one brother-in-law, Thomas Clayton Ware; two uncles, one aunt and one nephew. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 13, 2015, at Clintonville Christian Church by the Rev. Chuck Kemp. Burial will be in Clintonville Cemetery. Visitation will from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 12, 2015, at the church. Pallbearers will be Jim Harp, Johnny Clem, Len Conner, Arnold Willoughby, Parke Carter, Nick Carter, Bobby Revis and Bo Bowling. Memorials may take the form of contributions to Clintonville Christian Church, 141 Austerlitz Road, Paris, KY 40361.
