Evangeline Marie Hilgart Ware Obituary, 2012

Evangeline Marie Hilgart Ware, 92, of Summerville, passed away on August 19, 2012 at White Oak Manor. She was the widow of Lawrence A. Ware of Park Falls, WI. A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 24, 2012 at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church at 3 o’clock PM. Following the service, there will be a gathering of friends and family for refreshments. Burial will follow at a later date in Park Falls, Wisconsin, under the direction of Novitzke Funeral Home. Evangeline was born on April 19, 1920 in Park Falls, Wisconsin, daughter of Frank I. Hilgart and Lula Cain Hilgart Beeman. Her early schooling was in Park Falls, Wisconsin. She graduated from Belding High School in Belding, Michigan, Class of 1977, fulfilling a longtime dream. She was a life-long Lutheran and worked as a nursing assistant in Park Falls and Belding hospitals. Evangeline belonged to the American Legion Auxiliary for 67 years. She was a foster grandparent in Belding’s Orchard Hills Elementary School and Summerville Elementary School for a total of 21 years. Evangeline loved to bake, make wine, do crafts, loved storytelling and had a great love for animals. She is survived by: One Daughter: Iris Eagan (John) of Summerville, South Carolina; Two Sons: Larry Ware (Mary) and Dennis Ware (Kathy) both of Wisconsin; Seven Grandchildren; Four Great Grandchildren; One Nephew and Niece: Bruce Rozell (Marge) and Sue Jurado Rozell, both of Michigan. She was predeceased in death by her husband, her parents, her sister Dorothy Rozell and two Grandsons, Brian Eagan and Shawn Ware, her aunts, uncles and nephew, Byron Rozell. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The ARK, 206 Central Avenue, Summerville, SC 29483, Lutheran Hospice, 1885 Rifle Range Road, Suite 46, Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464 or Francis R.
