James Cleveland Ware Obituary, 2011

James Cleveland (Cleve) Ware, 64, of 1214 N. Limestone St., passed away on Friday, Sept. 30, 2011, at his residence.

Born in Gaffney, he was the son of the late Edwin James Ware and Gladys Sanders Ware. Mr. Ware was a graduate of Gaffney High School and a U.S. Air Force veteran, serving in the Vietnam War. He was a retired electrician and of the Baptist faith.

Surviving are three daughters, Elizabeth Nicole Ware and fiancé, Greg Camp, of Gaffney, Miranda Ware Pierce and husband, Brian, of Greenville and Jennifer Hallock-Davies and husband, John, of Utah; two brothers, Steve Ware of Florida and Edwin Lee Ware and wife, Carol, of Gaffney; a sister, Denise Smith and husband, Scott, of Gaffney; three grandchildren, Carissa Love, Bailee Ware and Jaxson Camp; two nieces, Tabatha Dicks and husband, Jesse, and Leslie Ware, all of Gaffney; three nephews, Alex Mantha Ware, Zac Mantha- Ware and Trey Parker; three great-nieces and one great-nephew.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 3, in Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Clyde Thomas officiating. The family will receive friends after the service at the home of Edwin Lee and Carol Ware, 113 Westland Drive, Gaffney.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice Care of South Carolina, 1612 N. Limestone St., Gaffney, SC 29340; or to American Cancer Society, Cherokee County Unit, 154 Milestone Way, Greenville, SC 29615.

The family will be at the residence of Edwin Lee and Carol Ware, 113 Westland Drive.
