MONCKS CORNER – Minnie Ruth Washington Ware, 76, died Thursday at her residence. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Freewill Holiness Church. Burial, directed by Gethers Funeral Home, will be in Mitten Lane Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. Ware was born in Anderson, a daughter of George Washington and Ella Watson Washington. She attended Anderson County public schools and was a member of Freewill Holiness Church. She was the widow of Albert Ware.

Surviving are three daughters, Cheryl Perdue of Huger, and Marilyn Quinn and Delores Williams, both of Moncks Corner; a son, Keith Johnson of Moncks Corner; and two sisters, Annie Strong of Belton and Leola Rice of Anderson.
