Glen W. “Bud” Ware, 71, of Farmington died at 8:26 a.m. Saturday July 25, 2015, at Van Buren County Hospital in Keosauqua.
Born April 11, 1944, near Argyle, he was the son of Glen and Stella Derr Ware.
Mr. Ware farmed and worked at other jobs in several states.
He graduated from Central Lee High School and was an avid outdoorsman.
Survivors include three sisters, Glenda Townsend of Farmington, Jean Meinhardt of Donnellson and Lois White of Wever; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, step-father and one sister.
A memorial gathering of Mr. Ware’s family and friends will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Farmington shelter house by the river. Private burial of cremains will be at a later date.
A memorial has been established for Farmington EMS.
Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqa is in charge of arrangements.
