Kim Maynard Ware 10/26/1952 ~ 6/1/2015 Kim Maynard Ware passed away peacefully, surrounded by family and loved ones on June 1, 2015. After struggling with Lewy-Body Dementia, he was finally freed from the body and mind that were no longer his own. Kim was born in Malad, Idaho on October 26, 1952 to A. Maynard and Velda Ware. Kim was the oldest of 7 children. He graduated from Granger High School in 1971 and graduated with a bachelor degree from Westminster College in 1995. He double majored in Business and English and was a member of Alpha Chi. The study of literature became a lifelong passion for him, finding great beauty in the reading and writing of words. He served an LDS Mission in Taiwan, where he developed a love for the people and culture. He married Glennys Wolf in 1974, and had 6 children. Although Kim spent his life employed in construction, he considered his most important work to be with his family and church. Kim showed his love to the Lord through serving others. He also served as an LDS Bishop and President of Murray Utah Stake, where he touched the lives of many who came to him for advice and counsel. Kim loved spending time with his family going to the Uinta Mountains and Shakespearian Festivals, watching his kids’ sporting events, and spending individual time with them. He dispensed gems of wisdom to his children from his basement office; whether it was from great literature, pieces of genealogy, passages of scripture, or unique insights and lessons gained. He is survived by his wife, Glennys Wolf; children, Damon (Kristy), Dallan (Laura), Carly (Chris), Keltsey (Suzie), Meili (Damian), Mychel (Robb) and 19 grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Richard (Suzanne), Ronald, Gaylen (Kathy), Diane, Marcene (Will), and Sonja.
