Ida Elizabeth Ware Obituary, 2003

WEST COVINA, Calif. – Ida Elizabeth Ware, 93, West Covina, Calif., and formerly of rural Toronto, died Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2003, in West Covina.

She was born Sept. 30, 1910, in Toronto, the daughter of William and Eva Secoy Green.

She grew up in rural Toronto and attended Triumph School District No. 35 and graduated from eighth grade at Memorial Hall, Eureka. She had lived in California since 1998.

She enjoyed showing off her farm.

On May 1, 1938, she married Clyde Ware in Fall River. He died in 1998.

Survivors include two sons, Richard Ware, West Covina, Calif., and Clifford Ware, Parkersburg, W.V.; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three sisters, Sylvia, Bertha and Mable, and three brothers, Charlie, Jimmy and Floyd.

Graveside funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, at the Toronto Cemetery. Family and friends will meet at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home.

Campbell Funeral Home, Yates Center, is in charge of arrangements.
