ABILENE — Viola Jean Ware, 79, Abilene, died Thursday, July 17, 2008. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond; and two sons, Steven and Rudy. Surviving are her husband, Tom, of the home; two sons, Raymond Noel Jr., Mt. Vernon, AR, and David Noel, Abilene; one daughter, Nancy Boyd, Enterprise; one sister, Patricia Clay Meierhenry, Cheyenne, WY; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday, July 20, 2008, where friends may call until time of service, at Martin-Becker-Carlson Funeral Home, Abilene. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Monday, July 21, 2008, at the funeral home. The family suggests that friends may contribute to a memorial to be decided at a later date, in care of the funeral home.
