WARE, ANDREW J., 92 – of Northfield, passed away on Tuesday, January 24, 2006 in the Shore Memorial Hospital in Somers Point, after a brief illness.
Born on August 26, 1913 in Northfield, Andrew was a lifelong area resident.
He served his country during World War II in the United States Army’s 102nd Medical Battalion.
He worked as a House Painter, and was employed for many years with Floyd Conover, a painting contractor in Absecon.
He was an avid golfer, gardener and he also enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was member of the Dorothy Rod and Gun Club.
He is predeceased by his wife Elizabeth “Betty” Ware, his brothers, Robert, Howard and Leon as well as his sister Helen.
He is survived by his son Howard A. Ware, and his wife Beverly L. (Crawford) of Egg Harbor Township and his grandsons, Mark Ware and his wife Danyel (Swan) of Egg Harbor Township, and Andrew of Millville, also his five great grandchildren Alicia, Sarah, Laura, Faith and Andrew; he is also survived by one sister-in-law, nieces, nephews and many friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family on Saturday, January 28, 2006 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the Adams-Perfect Funeral Home, Inc., 1650 New Road, Northfield, where a Funeral Service will be offered at 11:00 a.m.
Interment will then follow in the Asbury Methodist Cemetery on Zion Road in Egg Harbor Township.
In lieu of floral tributes, memorial contributions in Andrew’s name are requested forwarded to the Dorothy Rod and Gun Club, c/o 29 Brewster Road in Vineland NJ 08360.
