CONSTANTINE, Mich. – Freda Mae Ware, 82, died Monday her home.

She was born in Cromwell, Ind. Jan. 31, 1927, daughter of George and Ethel Marie (Smith) Hawn.

On June 16, 1951 she married Harry Junior Ware, in Constantine. He preceded her in death Jan. 24, 2008.

Freda enjoyed camping and spending time at Gun Lake as well as gardening and canning. Surviving are her sons, Terry (Peggy) Ware and Steve (Deborah) Ware, both of Constantine; grandchildren, Angela Ware, Amy Ware, Rachelle (Cody) Caswell, Ashley Ware, Thomas Ray Ware Jr. and Joshua Ware; stepgrandchildren, Jeffrey Ellis, Jason Ellis and Jeremy Ellis; great-grandchildren, Haley Ware and Caiden Caswell; step great-grandchildren, Emily, Faith, Austin and Jeremiah Ellis; brothers, Bud (Lorette) Hawn, Cromwell, Ind., Donnie (Peg) Hawn, Wauwaka, Ind. and Carl (Nancy) Hawn, Constantine; sisters, Lydia Martin, Centreville, Donna (Roger) Ott, Mooresville, N.C., Lavonne (Delbert) Lynn, Cromwell, Ind., and sister-in-law Vivian Holderbaum, Syracuse, Ind.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Tom Ware; and sisters, Mary Kline and Kathryn Emmons.
