Alvin Brice Ware Obituary, 2001

Alvin Brice Ware, 95, of North Manchester, a former Realtor in Huntington, died Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2001, at Peabody Retirement Community.

The Warren native was owner of Brice Ware and Associates, retired in 1965 from Kitchen Maid Corp. of Andrews as a purchasing agent after 34 years of service, and worked for Utah Corp. in Huntington from 1965 to 1975. He was a member of Huntington First Presbyterian Church, where he served as a deacon and trustee, and the Masonic Lodge. Surviving are daughters Ann Opal of Fort Wayne and Nancy Haberland of Plymouth; a son, Steven E. of Monroe, Ohio; a brother, William W. of Milwaukee; six grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. His wife, Margaret L., preceded him in death. Services are noon Saturday at Hart Funeral Home, Huntington, with calling from 10 a.m. until services. Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery, Huntington. Memorials are to the Huntington County Library, Peabody Retirement Community or the church.
