Frank X. Ware, a retired aluminum plant worker, died Sunday at Parkside Manor Nursing Home in Wenatchee, Wash. He was 81. Mr. Ware was born in Iberville Parish and lived in New Orleans for 15 years. He served in the Army at Bouganville and Iwo Jima, and was awarded four medals. He moved to Washington after his discharge in 1945, working for Alcoa Aluminum among other jobs before retiring in 1977. He was a member of the American Legion, the Wenatchee Aerie No. 204 and Fraternal Order of the Eagles. Survivors include three brothers, Richard Ware of Jackson, Miss., James A. Ware of Hammond, La., and Glen O. Ware of McComb, Miss.; two sisters, Eloise Ware Lyons of Hammond and Marjorie Ware McElwee of McComb. Telford’s Chapel of the Valley of East Wenatchee is in charge of arrangements.
