HENDERSON, Ky. — Mary Frances Ware, 89, died Thursday, Sept. 9, 1999, at Redbanks Nursing Home.

She had worked as a cook at Gateway Motel and Holiday Motel, both in Henderson.

She was a member of the Seventh Street Baptist Church, where she served on the Usher Board.

Surviving are three sons, Clarence Ware, Charles Halloway and Mark Bowman, all of Henderson; 23 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and a niece.

She was preceded in death by two sons, John and Phillip Ware.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Seventh Street Baptist Church, with burial in Fernwood Cemetery.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the church.

Young Funeral Home in Owensboro, Ky., is handling arrangements.
