Ware; 1 daughter, Jacqueline Pickens of Chicago, IL.; 1 sister, Myrtle (Michael) Magee of Gary, IN.; 1 brother, Joe Willie Smith of Phoenix, AZ.; 2 granddaughters, Stephanie Pickens of Gary, IN., Sharron (Richard) Pickens-Stone of Chicago, IL.; 6 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Visitation Friday, October 2, 2009 from 1-8 p.m. Family hour 6-7 p.m. at House of Robinson Memorial Chapel, 1900 W. 15th Ave. Funeral Services Saturday, October 3, 2009 at 10 a.m. Wildwood Church of Christ, 2316 Hendricks St., Gary, IN. Pastor Clinton Jackson officiating. Internment Evergreen Park Hobart, IN. Ruthie worked in various capacities but was best know for her gift as a seamstress, tailor and fashion designer creating beautiful garment in her home based business for many of Gary’s Elite. She will be sadly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Arrangements and direction entrusted House of Robinson, 1900 W. 15th Ave.
