Donna June Ware

Surrounded by her children, Donna June Ware, 70, of Denver lost her battle with cancer on May 4, 2012.

Donna was born in Kansas, but lived most of her life in Denver. She proudly worked as a machinist and aviation painter at Stanley Aviation for almost 20 years before retiring. She loved her family and enjoyed reading, Elvis, watching the Broncos, staying up on current events, and gardening.

She is survived by her five children, Samuel (Tony) Mazotti and his wife Jan, Vickie Wheeler and her husband Patrick, Robert Mazotti and his wife Debra, Sandra Fitzgerald and her husband John, and Sharon Feighner and her husband Tim; all of Denver.

Donna proudly doted on her twelve grandchildren, Brooke Mazotti, Erin Underwood, Alex Mazotti, Steven Suther, Evan Wheeler, Mersedez Fitzgerald, Chance Fitzgerald, Brandt Mazotti, Rachel Mazotti, Brenner Mazotti, Skyla Mazotti and Sloane Mazotti; and four great-grandchildren, Cameron Mazotti, Kadin Underwood, Nolan Mazotti and Kaleb Underwood.

She is also survived by her brothers and sisters, Richard Ware and family of Chattanooga, Tennessee; Charles Ware and family of Denver, Colorado; Mary Jane Weldon and family of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Russell Ware and family of Salt Lake City, Utah; Barbara Brazzale and family of Cheyenne, Wyoming and Donald Ware and family of Denver, Colorado. Donna was preceded in death by her sister Kathryn Turvey of Midvale, Utah.

A celebration of Donna’s life will be held Thursday, May 10, at 1pm at Horan and McConaty Family Chapel, 9998 Grant St, Thornton. The family invites you to join them for a reception following the service at Horan and McConaty.
