ERNEST WARE Obituary
March 14, 1925 – Dec. 9, 2014 MIDWEST CITY Ernest Liniel Ware, 89, of Midwest City, passed away December 9, 2014 at his home with his family by his side. Ernest was born March 14, 1925 in Broken Bow to Hubert and Mae Ware. He graduated from Broken Bow High School. He served in the Navy during WWII on the Pacific front in the Philippines. After returning home to Oklahoma, he met the love of his life, Patricia Collins and married her in 1949. He was an aircraft inspector at Tinker Air Force Base for 32 years. He was a member of the Freemasons in Oklahoma City in his early years. Ernest and Patricia had three children, Bruce, Terri and Carolyn, in the 1950’s. Ernest was preceded in death by his parents, his son Bruce, 4 brothers, and 1 sister. Ernest is survived by his wife of 65 years, Patricia, of the home; two sisters in Broken Bow, Louise Willis and Lucille Spoon; his two daughters, Terri Ussery of Tahlequah, and Carolyn and her husband John Lonsdale of Muskogee; 3 grandsons, David and Daniel Lonsdale and Russell Ware; and one granddaughter, Stephanie Lonsdale; and two great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 12, 2014, at 2:00 PM at Barnes Friederich Funeral Home with interment following at Elmwood Cemetery in Choctaw.
