Haynesville, LA – A celebration of life service for Mr. Fred Gentry Ware, age 64, will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, December 5, 2012, at the Haynesville United Methodist Church, Haynesville, LA, with Rev. Chuck Christensen officiating. Interment will follow in Old Town Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home, Haynesville, LA.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 4, 2012 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
Mr. Ware was born on August 20, 1948 to Donnie and Ozene Gentry Ware in Haynesville and passed away on Sunday, December 2, 2012 in Haynesville, LA. He was a member of the Haynesville United Methodist Church and Millerton Lodge 245 F&AM. He was also a 32 degree Scottish Rite, El Karuba Shriner, US Veteran and was the owner/operator of Barkett Candy Company. Mr. Ware was a loving husband, father, grandfather and a friend to all.
He is a survived by his wife of 43 years, Bette Barkett Ware; son-in-law, Tommy Garrett; granddaughter, Sydney Garrett; grandson, Patrick Garrett; brother, Sammie Ware and wife, Rita and special friends, James and Kathy Harris, all of Haynesville.
Mr. Ware was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Kelley Renee Garrett.
Pallbearers will be Frank Bush, James Harris, Doyle Odom, Dan Ware, Tim Ware and Randy Williamson.
