Gena R. Ware, 87, of Sun City, AZ, passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2012. Preceded in death by her husband Bill of 53 years, 4 brothers and 1 sister. Gena is survived by 3 children: Sharon Clements (Mike), Ruth Garrels (Larry) and William Ware (Connie); 6 sisters; 2 brothers; 13 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Gena was active in many Sun City, Arizona activities including the Red Hats, line dancing, Handi-capables, Bocce Ball, as well as a former member of the Peoria Heights, IL, Chapter of the Eastern Star.
Memorial services will be held January 26, 2012, at 9:30 A.M. at the Messinger Pinnacle Peak Mortuary, 8555 E. Pinnacle Peak Rd., Scottsdale, AZ, with graveside services at the Veteran’s National Cemetery, on Pinnacle Peak Rd. at 11:00 A.M.
