BENTON HARBOR – Gloria Ware Crowder Pritchard, 57, of Benton Harbor went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday May 5, 2010, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in St. Joseph.
A celebration of life service will be held on Friday, May 14, at the Highland Seventh-day Adventist Church. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. followed by the service at 12 p.m.
Gloria was born on Sept. 10, 1952, in Proctor, Ark. She graduated from Wonder High School, West Memphis, Tenn., in 1971, and moved to Benton Harbor in 1973, where she attended Jordan College. She worked for more than 10 years as a paraprofessional for Benton Harbor area schools. She retired from Child and Family Services.
Gloria is survived by her husband, James Pritchard; son, Coleman (Angelique) Ware; two daughters, Shawndolyn (Vince) Sims and Donna (Simion) Ware; mother, Dorothy Ware; sister, Barbara Joyce (James) Stringfellow; 11 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jim Ware; son, Charmail Ware; sister, Veratia Jones; and her late husband, Coleman Crowder.
