WARE, Harlen Overton, 82, of Richmond, went to be with the Lord on April 6, 2011. Overton (Opa) Ware was born in Knoll, Virginia, on December 10, 1928. He retired from the U.S. Air Force (20 years), and the Virginia Employment Commission. He was predeceased by his wife, Anneliese E. Ware; and a daughter, Annette Ramona Haynes. He is survived by a brother, Riley Ware; and sister, Frances Atkins; seven children, Larry Ware, Ed Ware, Anneliese Warriner (Mike), Lloyd Ware (Janice), Clifford Ware, Novalee Dickerson; and stepson, Wilfried Neumann (Roswitha); 15 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends. A graveside service will be held at Maury Cemetery on Friday, April 8, at 2 p.m., with Steve Carlisle officiating.
