Mr. Ware, 84, of Oberlin, entered eternal rest on Saturday, May 25, 2013 in the St. Francis Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Oberlin with his loving family at his bed side. He was born on February 22, 1929 in Oakdale to the union of Sol Ware and Cleo Young Ware. In his early years he hauled logs. He was formerly employed by the Oakdale City Police Department, before retiring he worked as an EMT with the Oakdale Ambulance Service. He was a loving father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, and friend.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Ware; his parents, Sol and Cleo Ware; and one sister, Thelma West.
He leaves behind his loving family to cherish his memory, two daughters, Marilyn Haymon of Oakdale and Lorraine Martin of Bayou Vista; and two sisters, Ethel Sweat of Oakdale and Claire Rodriguez of Union Hill; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
Pallbearers to serve will be Freddie Haymon, Anthony Johnson, Corey Sweat.
Friends may call today from 10 am until 10 pm and then on Monday, May 27, 2013 from 9 am until time of service in the chapel.
