Nina was born in Chicago, IL on February 26, 1928, and was the daughter of the late Roy and Helen Thomas. She was a member of the Wilmington High School graduating class of 1946. Nina helped run the family business, Roy’s Café which was located in Wilmington.
After relocating to Miami in 1947, she fell in love with the area, settled down and raised her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John E. Ware. Nina is survived by her son, Roy Ware and wife Dalia of Miami, FL; and cousins, Eddie and Suzanne Grandel of Wilmington.
A graveside service and interment will be held at 11 am on Friday morning, July 25, 2014, at the Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE.
